Well, boys and girls, the RFEF disciplinary committee has met and made its decision. It's 5 games suspension for Sergio Ramos (the sum of 1 game for the accumulation of cards and 4 games for insulting the referee.) The referee of yesterday's match against Celta, Ayza Gámez, wrote in his report to the committee that Sergio called him "un sinvergüenza" (shameless) and said to him "llevas todo el puto día jodiéndonos" (you've spent the whole fucking day fucking us over). As Sergio made his way into the tunnel, he allegedly said to the assistant referee: "siempre igual, que sinvergüenzas sois" (always the same, how shameless you all are).
And because these
bleeping things never make any
bleeping sense, Sergio will not just be serving out his suspension in the competition he earned it in, it carries over to the
bleeping league as well. He will miss the games against Osasuna, Valencia, and Getafe, in addition to the two quarterfinal CdR games against Valencia. (But the good news is he would be able to play in the semifinals, should we make it that far.) And since Pepe is still out for a month after that ankle surgery...In Varane we trust, eh?
